Fusion Report

The Fusion Report has gotten stale, so I thought I would change it up to include thoughts about the weekend.  Maybe it'll be more of a Weekend Recap or something that will include the Fusion Report...but it's gotta have a better name...someone help me out....Mr. Hill?

• Enjoyed hanging with my wife, Chris and Melissa at the Charlie Hall show Friday night at Johnson Bible College
• I freakin' love when Charlie Hall is leading worship...I think it's safe to say he's my fav...sorry Crowder...you're second though...and one of my favorite authors.  (Probably doesn't help..not that he'll ever read this)
• Fusion was great Sunday night...two baptized!
• I stinkin' preached my heart out on Sunday night...I felt like I ripped into the kiddos but I think they needed to hear that playing church is playing with God and that's just stupid
• We've got to get a drummer on Sunday nights....the energy is way lower without that thump!  
• I'm thinking this week we'll start using some loops in our worship sets
• Matt did a bang up job singing a slow version of Hall's Song of the Redeemed
• Attendance was low at Fusion Sunday night...nice weather= bad attendance in our student ministry
• Had a great day hanging with my bride on Saturday doing some shopping and going to Gatlinburg
• There are some students in our ministry going through some really rough stuff right now, so help me lift them up in prayer
• Rusty Sampson is now addicted to reading blogs almost as bad as he's addicted to Full Throttle Energy drinks!
• Tennessee men's basketball team put the Kentucky Kitty Cats to sleep today...yes!
• Matt I was wrong...Duran Duran does not sing Hey Now (The Dream is over)...it's Crowded House....but no one has heard of them so we'll stick with Duran Duran
• Charlie Hall's new album will stinkin' rule!  
• Sooooo excited about the new series we start this week at Fusion....Light up The Sky
