Weekend Confessions

I don't know that I would call this past weekend the best weekend I have ever had by any means. It was really...well...just a weekend. But there were some highlights....

• Got to take in some Clinton High School Dragon baseball on Friday night. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but going out to the ballpark is always fun
• Saturday I got to go to my niece's 1st birthday party. She was a complete ham loving every moment of it and every ounce of cake she stuffed in her mouth. I can't wait to experience this when Denira and I have our child! However, I did totally underestimate the creepiness of the Chucky Cheese mouse...wow
• Despite my friend Chris "the Thrill" Hill bailing on me at the movies, took in Iron Man and it was rather stellar. Robert Downy Jr. was stellar
• I wanted to take out the S.S. Richard Anthony (Dickie Tony) this weekend but the weather was a bit nasty on Saturday morning. Plus homeslice here really needs a truck so I don't have to borrow someone's to take the boat out!
• Fusion was fun. Focused on our seniors this past week with a message about how to face the unknown challenges ahead
• Matthew 10 will mess you up if you allow the Holy Spirit to work you
• The band played "King" from Audio A. Love that song!
