Being a 'Kingdom Minded' church is something that is talked about often, but not always achieved. It takes work to be a church that is about the big C Church. If you're looking for ways to not be about the BIG C church, the look no further! Here's what I think are some ways you too can say you're 'Kingdom Minded' but really be about just making sure your seats are filled....
If you truly want to be a church that is inward focused, then make sure you never partner with other churches and never connect with other pastors for fellowship. And I don't mean connecting with other churches and pastors because they've approached you to learn from you. You didn't reach out to them...they reached out to you. When another church is doing something in the community and they invite you to be part of it, go ahead and turn them down! OR....just let them know you'll be there, BUT you have to have a HUGE banner with your churches name it, hanging in a place where every person will see it with a table set up where an over annoying person will be there handing out so much material on your church that they'll need to provide a bag for it all, which by the way, will have your churches name on it. What? I'm just sayin...
Of course, that is just a suggestion if you DON'T WANT TO BE A KINGDOM MINDED CHURCH.
