Weekend Confessions

My first qusi-father's day is now in the books and I gotta say it was good one.  In fact, the entire weekend was a good one, just hanging with the wife and doing some relaxing...

  • Friday night was date night at home with my stone cold fox baby mama.  We went out to Outback, had a steak, then it was back home for Dan In Real Life, and I Am Legend.
  • Saturday we wasted some time at the mall then went out to see Brightgray rock the Worlds Fair Park in Knoxvegas.  Mental note:  when you put on a music festival, get sound guys that have actually ran sound before.  What?  I'm just sayin...OH!...and if the best band you've got playing gets cut down to only 4 songs after you've had to wait an hour for your sound men to get things rolling...just don't even ask them to play...what?...I'm just sayin...
  • Love those guys in Brightgray...buy their album NOW!
  • Saturday night we finally got to see Prince Caspien....great movie!  One of the better ones I've seen this summer
  • Went to St. Arbucks before the flick and who did we see...T-Rav...the guy lives there...but it's all good cause I love seeing that guy!
  • Sunday we checked out Providence with Chris the Thrill Hill and his baby momma Melis...good service and loved seeing the legend Ken Sparks take the stage for his son on Father's Day
  • Enjoyed hanging with my family at my parents house...fired up the grill from some good ole southern "poke chops"
  • I love days when I get to hang with my wife, brothers and parents...I can't wait till our son gets to experience that and my brother's daughter is there with us too!
  • Listening to Worth Dying For and still loving that album!

Dan In Real Life was way better than I expected.
